Welcome to Vertical Vizsla.  We are the Hays family, and this site is devoted to our vizsla, Ch. Vizcayca's Plum Tuckered Out JH, or Tucker. For those that don't know, a vizsla is a medium size hunting dog.  They are bred to be versatile hunters, able to point various game birds, and good for hunting small fur bearing game.  We decided to make this site to show off our boy, and all that he does.  The name as you can see came from his tendency to leap straight up in the air when he is excited.  Thus far, Tucker has completed titles in the show ring and field, and we continue to explore different adventures for our boy.  We hope you enjoy a peek into our lives through all that we do with Tucker.  

Tucker is excited that he now has a 2 legged little brother, Ethan.  Tucker has been a great big brother to Ethan so far.
